National Boys Choir of Australia
Forty-five members of this very talented treble choir visited our Centre on Monday 29th September en route between performances at Mount Gambier and Hamilton.
We were treated to an impromptu a capella performance of ‘Irish Blessing’ by Bob Chilcott (1955 - ), under the expert direction of Peter Casey, in the Woods-MacKillop Schoolhouse.

Both Mary MacKillop and Julian Tenison Woods would have been as delighted as were we by the beauty of the sound emanating from these highly acclaimed young choristers.
Well known for their memorable Qantas television commercials, filmed in many exotic locations around the world, it was wonderful to hear the boys perform in the heritage listed 1867 Schoolhouse where Mary once taught.
