Education About Becoming Josephite Associates

On 23rd January 2009 Val DeBrenni conducted a session at Mary MacKillop Penola Centre for people interested in joining the Josephite Associates.

Val is co-chair of the Josephite Associate Lay Committee set up by the Josephite Leadership in South Australia two years ago. She works as a Religious Education Consultant at the Catholic Education Office. Much of her work involves the spiritual development of teachers in Catholic schools.

Twelve people attended and expressed interest in becoming Associates after hearing Val’s excellent presentation.

The staff of St Anthony’s Catholic School, Millicent, participated in a session with Val on 22nd January at Penola. They also spent time reading the displays at the Centre and enjoyed a tour of the town.
