Presentation of Cheque for Schoolhouse Exhibition

On 13th March 2009 Mr Mitch Williams, Member for MacKillop, presented a cheque for $16,500 to the committee of the Mary MacKillop Penola Centre. This was a grant from the South Australian History Trust’s Museums Accreditation and Grants Program for stage 2 of the planned Schoolhouse exhibition “Josephite Education − These are the Children I Love”.

The designer, Peter Templeton, will now proceed with this exciting  project.
