1st Anniversary of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop planned for Sunday October 16th 2011
On Sunday October 16th we will celebrate the 1st anniversary of the canonisation of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop.
At this stage, plans are for the day to begin at 9:00am at the Mary MacKillop Park (site of the original stable) with a stage one celebration. There will be a procession to the Saint Josephs church. Mass will begin at 10:30am. After mass, all are invited to the Interpretive Centre for the opening of the canonisation display. There will be a BBQ lunch to follow.
